High speed fares

The bits on HS1 are the only 'premium' bits, I'm not sure about Faversham but Ashford International is the changeover point for the services down that way. So therefore Dover Priory - Ashford is normal fares, Ashford to St Pancras is 'premium'.

Normal fares are fine on HS1 services as far as Gravesend, after that you will need a ticket marked "plus high speed".

Actually, any ticket that doesn't say "Not HS1" is valid (as long as it's a valid route, by the normal routing rules).

This includes many "Any permitted" tickets, advance fares, etc, basically it's the same as any other line for ticketing purposes, it's just SouthEastern's pricing structure that's made it in any way "special".

As someone was telling me on the train the other day, that from Gravesend to Faversham that it only counts as a “local” train, like the stopper services, with regular fares not a premium?
Hope someone can help?
