I was asked when one of my examples happened and gave the exact date, which was over 4 years ago. They accepted the answer and I passed so I think this must have changed.

I agree with this and to be honest it threw me a little. I really wasn't quite sure what to make of it as it seemed overly casual, certainly more so than I was expecting.

Your initial impression is correct. For each image you have to identify which of the 5 categories you have listed above appeared in the picture. It does not matter if there are 2 or 10 traffic signs, you just have to have seen a traffic sign (or whatever appeared) and select it from the list...

The tests you have just sat with Freightliner override those you previously sat, therefore you now have a fresh 5 years on your passes for anyone that will accept the scores you have just achieved. Some TOC's set their own time limits however at 2 or 3 years and some demand that you take some of...

When I took them last month they said results will be kept for 12 months before needing to resit.

Top tip for anyone still to apply. Check the word count on the situational questions. At the third attempt at some answers I've finally got responses I'm happy to submit. Copied the first answer across from word... 738 words over the 200 word limit... The position will probably be closed...

That's helpfull advice. I think I've been too focused on covering lots of skills, to the detriment of being concise. Will take another crack at it. Thanks

Looking at the application form now and have a question for those more in the know about the non technical skills framework. When they ask a question about one of skills, e.g. the question about remaining calm under presure, are they looking for an answer that goes into depth on that one area...

The RSSB advise that the only tests for which reasonable adjustments for dyslexia should be made are the TRP1, TRP2 and the (optional) written communication test. This is suggested as these tests are designed to measure your ability to complete driver training and not the safety critical...

I was getting 10 or 11 rows, averaging 1 omission on every page and passed to an enhanced standard so you should smash it with those scores. As Dynamonic says, it's probably time to put any further practice hours towards the other tests.
