I don't think they stay overnight. it will probably be a taxi over from Liverpool or Manchester. Be a bit of a horrible shift to work as it will probably start at about 2am.

Do the shift usually follow a similar structure to each other E.G XX:35 Pic-Euston then say an hour in Euston then the XX:43 Euston-Preston then train pass back to pic. Will the crews always do the same each hour baring the maybe some early and some late turns?

Pretty sure they cant do the hold route without a PNB anyway so i imagine all crews will change and Preston. Am i right in saying that Pic work the section in between Preston and Euston as well as Preston and Euston crews?

I would say 85% chance 175 in both directions. They seems to be pretty much all one 175 Mon-Sat unless there is the odd failure, But i have to say on Sundays when i have been in Pic i have seen quite a few 150 make it up the line don't seem to see many 150 making it up the line during the week...

well it is good to know that it did not get effected by the high winds. maybe train company's should start investing in 9 reindeer and a sleigh they defiantly seem more reliable then a 142. :D

Yeah i make it out to be 4 170 on the hull's. I am not sure which are booked 4 cars but i am pretty sure that the 16:42 Pic-Hull is 4 car and i imagine that the 17:42 will be 4 car as it is the peak time hull service. I am not to sure about the Cleethorpes Services but it think there is...

Regarding the trains going via New street to Edinburgh and Glasgow will they have a crew change in New Street or is the crew change at Preston?
