    TC60054's Random Trips Out

I still maintain that was an accident... of sorts! :D Unlike some I actually like Voyagers as you well know. You make us sound so fat!

Red Pen 2017 - Your New Haulages

You must be one of the few people I know to have previously won haulage on a not in service vehicle on non passenger track!

Oldest stock you've travelled in on the network.

Mine would likely be the mk1s that the NYMR use on the NR line to Whitby.

Trivia: Stations where a calling service is longer than the platform

Meadowhall when a 2x3 car 185 calls. This will be happening even more when South Transpennine gets more doubled up services.

    [Trivia] Stations on a Gradient

The Forest is steeper, High School is nearly on the top of the hill so isn't as bad throughout the platforms. One of the good things about that stop though is that unlike The Forest, traffic passing through helps to keep the rails clean so it's rare that you'll slide significantly.

    [Trivia] Stations on a Gradient

Someone else mentioned tramways so I'll add a couple there, Netherthorpe Road (Sheffield Supertram) and The Forest (Nottingham NET) the latter being one I have considerable experience dealing with!

Class 90s out of Liverpool Street to Stratford

I'm wanting to get the thoughts of someone more familiar with Liverpool Street and Stratford stations. In early September I'm travelling to London in the hope of travelling on as many different TOPS classes as I can in the day. I have been informed that the class 90 hauled mk3 sets that are...

    Motorail

Apologies for the off topic response, but this is absolutely not true. There are plenty of charging points in the Highlands, rapid chargers are all over. See PlugShare.com and you can see them all. I own a Leaf and can charge to 80% in less than 30 minutes at one of these, and do over 120 miles...

    Motorail

While the answer is undoubtedly and unfortunately no, for me personally it is disappointingly so. I drive an electric car and it would be an absolute dream for me to drive to my local main line station in an evening, pull into a Motorail carriage and go to sleep, only to wake up in the...

It could quite possibly be that it is an offline TVM. It certainly hasn't worked on a good 4 or 5 separate times I've tried it since it was installed a while ago.

    Offline cards

I have a contactless MasterCard Debit issued by Yorkshire Bank an it does not work offline when trying to purchase tickets on train. (Rather interestingly it is also rejected by the Northern TVM at Worksop yet works perfectly every where else - work that one out!)
