I can never remember the difference between West Midlands Railway and London Northwestern Railway (yes, I know I could look it up) so find myself referring to them as "London Midland or whatever they're called this week." Much to the amusement of my friends.
Great to hear! I travel all the time, all over the country for work so if you're ever after beta testers, I'd be more than happy to help out. It is such a handy app!
Sorry, had a pair on Merseyrail Wirral Lines on Monday night if that makes it any better? (It won't make it better. :D) It is a rather odd experience I must say, cooking my dinner while rolling through Lime Street low level!
The pantograph needs to be able to be controlled from the cab so it can be lowered on the move in an emergency. Any raised pantograph must be under someone's control.
Absolutely no idea, sorry! Just know I've spent the last couple of days at Dollands Moor and there were quite a few 92s around. I noted 011 and 019 in attendance on Friday morning, and other movements in and out while I was there last night. Sorry theres no more details than that!
GBRF ones definitely still use the third rail. Was chatting to one of our drivers on Tuesday night who had done such a move with one very recently and was a big fan of them!
