Useless website - Is this for real???

Maybe it's a really clever online portfolio for someone applying for a job there locally. I want to see London railway station though, it must be enormous! "Truro is the city which is located in England. It is one of the biggest city in United Kingdom. The total population of the city is...

    Feltham Problems?

It's nearer Whitton station than Feltham. May have to have a look if it's possible. Thankfully the Hounslow loop trains are still on as it's down from the junction although I believe that Feltham is a two platform station so not sure how the services are still working logistically with...

    Small Terminuses

That shopping centre in Windsor used to be the station. Well a small part out the end still is.

    Small Terminuses

Sheringham is a tiny single track terminus. The line ends rather abruptly at a road crossing, the other side of which is now the North Norfolk Railway. I presume it was all one line in the past.

    Longest non-stop railway journey

That's an average of about 88mph, which is really really slow by HSR standards?

This is coach number 1, surely!

    London has a new Airport!

There wouldn't really be any point in running a 40 mile flight, especially as the two places are connected by motorway and rail, well I'm not sure how far Oxford airport is from the M40 or the centre of town but it can't be a million miles away.

Stations that are physically closer together than the distance of track between them?

Not a mile but similar is Gunnislake to Calstock. 1.92 miles by road and 2.91 miles by rail. For the other way around Lymington Pier and Lymington Town are 0.81 miles by road and 0.48 by rail.

LONDON to LEIPZIG by TRAIN Please!

Deutsche Bahn have started doing €50 each way tickets from Germany or vice versa if you book through their website. I'm not sure if they are available from Leipzig but they certainly are from the big cities.

    OpenTTD

Ah, there are scenarios. Missed that, probably because I just jumped into a game. Still I may rename a few Cornish towns. I will try that in a few days when this fleshes out slightly. Thanks, it'll be a while before I tire of interweaving expresses, DMUs and coal trains.

Oh wow, thank you. I can't believe I missed this game the first time around as I've always loved Sim City. I actually lost about 6 hours earlier and wondered where the day went. Mojo, is there a way to have the UK map grow in a way similar to the UK in reality? As at the moment I've got...

Northampton to East Croydon Season Ticket

Could you change for the LM service from Milton Keynes to East Croydon direct or does that not suit your times?

    SWT Waterloo - Exeter

I really need to try this sometime as there's no way it can be duller than Reading to Exeter and apart from the closed windows 159s are an absolute dream compared to the FGW HSTs now. Shame there aren't more through trains to Plymouth.

    Brighton to West Hampstead Direct

If you get a First Capital Connect service from Brighton to Bedford you can change at St Pancras for a slow train to West Hampstead, it's the same platform.

    Inter City-only stations

Well I'd call Haymarket then Waverley essentially non stop as the two stations are so close and both right in the centre. It makes a lot more sense now with your explanation and that the capacity isn't there. I thought there'd be more fast trains than there are though considering the proximity...

    Lima HST Power Cars Query

Ah, not surprising. Thanks. Wondering which coaches to give it as it's not going for 100% historical accuracy, it's a Western Region HST though. Shame that Executive Livery didn't make it to privatisation, it'd have not been much over 10 years old then.

Abuse to the 'Push' buttons on trains.

I've tried it on 450s and it doesn't seem to work. Perhaps it is the later ones that do it?
