What exactly is happening with this service? Does it still run 7 days a week? I have noticed that the service does not seem to run past Clapham Junction when it does run. What is the future like for this service given that there has been much speculation over its operation?

you would have thought that in order to compensate for customers west of rayners lane, that they would extend the Rayners lane reversers to Uxbridge in order to provide a 10 min service, rather than a 20 min service, which isn't great

So Greater Anglia ordered two different train types for both their intercity and suburban services. What was the point in this given both have the same top speed? Surely you could have just ordered the same stock but with the intercity ones having just one door and suburban ones having 2 doors...

Judging by what you have said, it seems that 4 car trains never ran beyond baker Street i.e any aldgate bound train were always 8 car. Unless 4 car trains have travelled to the city in those days? Did all platforms have 4 and 8 car stopping markers back in those days? Did 4 car trains stop...
