For Spain, if you are using the NHS recovery from covid pass, it states the following:
If you’re travelling to Spain for tourism purposes, are not fully vaccinated but have recovered from prior COVID-19 infection in the last 6 months, you can use the UK proof of COVID-19 recovery record or a...
I agree with the points re auto opening all doors at above ground stations. On the S stock, despite the auto close feature, it is common for the doors to remain open beyond the 45 second auto close time and in the Winter, this is really annoying. I don't know why driver sometimes hold all doors...
I thought you cannot travel there as per the travel rules listed on Gov.co.uk's website. Unless I have missed something?
Any links to sources appreciated!
does anyone know if the ban on unvaxxed to enter Spain/Tenerife (other than essential reasons) will be lifted soon? In addition, any other restrictions on unvaxxed once in the country?
What has always confused me is why the 72 stock didn't get a refurbishment to the level of the 73 stock back in the 90s e.g. dot matrix displays. It's almost as if the 73 stock should be the one to stay and 72 stock to go from 2025!
Had they done so, there would have been much less work to do...
What's wrong with the current door close chimes? Why do they need to be changed? By that logic, would the 73/92/95/96 stocks also need theirs to be updated too?
The 72 stock has no chimes when the doors open, so I would doubt there are plans to add this?
EU Digital COVID Certificate | European Commission (europa.eu)
If travelling to an EU country, it seems to suggest that having a positive PCR test to prove previous infection (within the last 180 days) would work in your favour.
Do the standard free PCR tests you book here count as proving...
Is the two track timetable definitely going to be in use then? Do we know which pair of lines will be shut?
Checked the departure for the TFW service and it says diagrammed 150/156/155/153. No mention of a 175
Considering this is a train coming from Swansea, I am surprised it could be a sprinter
I am travelling to Manchester Piccadilly on the 19th Dec. We have found a much cheaper alternative is to travel via Crewe on LNWR then take a transport for wales service to Piccadilly rather than take a direct Avanti train from Euston.
The train from Euston is a Crewe bound service which is...
Hi All,
A quick question.
I may need to go on holiday to Croatia and Tenerife around May/June next year. Going with a group, mixed with those who are both double jabbed and those who have not had one at all (question whether they will even be able to travel)
What I would like to know is if...
I do think that if the Night tube does reopen, there should be a reconsideration of the services operated.
E.g.
Did stanmore to wembley need a train every 10?
Did the Piccadilly, with its ageing stock need to send every train beyond Northfields?
Are there cases for the West Ruislip and Uxbridge...
The main reason for trains to stop would be for interchange with the Richmond branch of the district line. At the moment, if you are coming from Uxbridge or Heathrow, you must change twice just to get to this branch. Ofcourse you could just stay all the way to Heathrow but this doesn't make...
Was at shepherds bush around 7pm on Saturday. The last Southern service going north was around 4pm. I still saw East Croydon services but nothing going North, so I had to use LO and change at WJ for Harrow + W.
Guessing the Southern service shuts down early on a Sat?
