Thanks Dave - yeah I know the real thing has dots. I've been practicing on the PC software, think I might print some out to do as well as the practice ones GA sent me.

Have found out from GA today that the training for the Norwich depot jobs would start 4th February.

Are there set times when GA start driver training? I saw in another thread that the next 'intake' is March - would this be when anyone about to have an assessment would start if they were successful? Cheers.

For the TOCs that use the paper GBT - is each group of dots in a square like when they are highlighted in the software, or is it just a big page of dots!?

Hi everyone! I've applied for the trainee depot driver at Norwich and have been invited for assessment at Stratford on 23rd November - woo! Anyone else here going then? Does anyone know what tests are likely to take place at this first stage? Is it just concentration and mechanical...

It's less cryptic than that - you're at the hospital late with an ill relative and have an early driving shift the next morning... This has been on the GA application for at least a few months. Can be seen on the GA jobs page if anyone is interested!

You really mean morning don't you - 05:20! Didn't realise there was an EMT train that stopped at Edale though, shame it doesn't start at Norwich.
