I think they came via Ilford where 12164 was being worked on so all three were bought to Crown Point together.

I believe there was an issue getting hold of any more LED bulbs. One of the units (I thought 419) has one coach LED and one fluorescent!

Yes. Only crew doors are going to be grey.

10229 is how the refurbished ones will look outside, except with the new logo which I guess was omitted from 10229 as it was finished before the new logo was produced. The first coaches to be refurbished proper are taking longer than expected, but they are being done!

    Greater Anglia trainee drivers

Bear in mind the rates on the Aslef site are for mainline drivers. It's about 2/3rds of that when you're in the depot (+ Sundays). edit: Sorry, that only applies to the Ilford, Colchester, Clacton & Norwich Depots roles.

Derailment between Downham Market and Kings Lynn

Seems to have derailed on a level crossing... http://www.edp24.co.uk/news/travel_update_roads_re_opening_after_de_railed_train_is_removed_from_crossing_near_king_s_lynn_station_but_services_between_lynn_and_downham_still_suspended_1_3007586

Task force to speed up Norwich-London route

Double tracking Trowse Bridge is one of the suggestions - to improve capacity more than anything though.

Don't worry, it won't be in traffic for a while due to a mechanical failure... As such 156407 has not gone off yet.

Well you would have thought so but no one's mentioned that yet so might be after the coaches are done... there will be some odd combinations running round if that is the case.

    Greater Anglia Liveries Discussion

Doesn't seem like it. Possibly the odd replaced carpet here and there if it's really required I hear, but I guess that means it will have to be pretty much the same colours as what's there now. As I understand it, the Mk3s are being done solely because Porterbrook want/need to (although GA...

    Greater Anglia Liveries Discussion

I hear that the first two Mk3 coaches will go off at the end of next week. These two will take two weeks, subsequent batches of two will supposedly take one week. Work being done, as far as we know is: New bogies Brake system overhaul New (re-conditioned) air-con modules Bodyshell repairs...

East Coast Live GPS Train Tracker

At a guess because a while back GA started putting on-train tracking on their Wi-Fi landing page using the same provider as EC. Perhaps the default train is the last one added. I'm pretty sure the loco that appears is 90015 which goes some way to support the above theory. Normally the headcode...

It's all over so you can't see any of the ONE colours. Having said that I'm not sure the blue round the edge of the yellow ends will be covered. I would think it'll be finished this week.

Well I imagined it was planned before a motorist decided to drive into the side of 271 and the incident at Norwich station!
