    317501 was noted yesterday morning at 0900 in the centre road of Carlisle Station hauled by 37800. The same locomotive was noted later in the afternoon at Eastfield Depot, Any idea why 317501 was so far north?

    Hot on the heels of the acquisition of 14 E400s from South seven B9TL Wright Eclipse Gemini 16951/52/53/56-59 have arrived at Gillmoss from Glenrothes. I believe that they used to be at Wigan before migrating to Scotland.

    08790 on the move

    08790 was moved this morning from Longsight to Edge Hill. The previous shunter at Edge Hill went to Alsthom at Ditton some monthe ago. I noted the shunter on a low loader on Wavertree High Street in Liverpool just before 1200 today.
