A number of VDL SB200s have recently been repainted into the new standard 'Interurban' livery, which are listed below.

Bootle - 2918, 2920, 2921, 2922 and 2924.
Green Lane - 2642, 2667, 2669 and 2670.

The new Enviro200s (2151-5) entered service at Rhyl depot today. Also of note is that ex-Arriva Buses Wales VDL SB200s 2504-13 are now deployed from Bootle depot, replacing a number of X-reg Dennis Darts.

Last 3 Darts still in Service at Bootle are 2226, 2235 and 2268, Dont think they will be out in Service long

Latest Withdrawals at St Helens is 2237 and RTA Damaged 2494

Wright Renowns 2701 and 2702 are going into the Driver Training fleet, a joke when they was meant to be coming St Helens as Dart replacements

Aren't the Renowns the same age as the Darts, pity they couldn't keep some of the Pulsars to replace the Darts when the Enviros arrived?

The new StreetLites at Birkenhead have now entered service. They carry "Crossriver" branding like the hybrid Volvos used on routes 432, 433, 437 etc however they are in the "Interurban" livery and not the "Green" livery

Some of them are around the same age (a few months newer I think) but the rest are about six months newer. They're good buses in my opinion and I'm glad some are being kept as driver training vehicles

The first batch of Enviro400s was diverted to Arriva North West because it released a similar number of vehicles that were a similar age to other divisions

in other news Arriva St Helens have won some School work!

708 Prescot - Rainhill High (AM)
721 Hope Academy - Wharf Road (PM)
745 Carmel College - Platt Bridge (PM)
783 Moss Bank - Rainford High (AM)
786 Rainford High - St Helens (PM)

Adding to what we already got that makes 3AM and 4PM School contracts, 4214 is to be kept for these and am told a DLP is also due here, also for the Schools

The first day of the Southport Flower Show saw the running of the Birkdale Park and Ride.
Buses noted on the route were Speke Commanders 2582 2592 2594 2603 and Southport Pulsar 3042. On route 27 from the railway station to the showground was Speke Commander 2606.

Newest addition to the St Helens Fleet is DLP 4178, currently parked on Lane 16 and like 4214 will only been used on Schools unless there really is no other option but to send it out in Service

Change of allocation at Arriva St Helens will see 4214 go to Southport as they have won a couple of School Contracts, in return St Helens are to get a further 2 DLPs to join 4178 (i think from WY Depot)
