Its funny as I was thinking about that, specially as they've still got their 5 carriages. I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be.. I guess I'll find out when I come to Manchester in the New Year.

There also used to be carriage sidings at Newtown on the MilesPlatting incline. It would be useful - specially with the new timetable and the platform space at Victoria now being at a premium, especially with the rientroduction of Blackpool services.
