I regularly leg it to Port Street Beer House when I've got 30 minutes or so to wait. I can get from there to Platform 13 in about 7.5 minutes if I run like heck.

Pub was good for a bit but is now terrible. Chippy isn't bad though. 15 minute walk to the Lansdown if you want a decent meal. Easy enough to do with a 2 hour XC wait.
