This has happened to me whenever i have caught the holyhead train from cardiff - get to chester to be told you have to change onto a different unit, despite being advertised as a through train. (also on the return 2 units doubled up, advertised as a through train, to then be told to change onto...- hilly

Cardiff Queen Street improvements
ideally they would split the taff (treherbert/aberdare/merthyr) and rhymney (rhymney/coryton) services before queen street - unfortunatley this would require widening the newport road bridge to 4 tracks, which would probably be very expensive. I think the current thinking is to have 2 up valley...- hilly

Fake house fronts, I never knew this before...
Draw a line from bayswater to Paddington and it pretty much crosses Leinster gardens at the relevant point. Queensway is central line- hilly
