    Plenty around the South Wales valleys - old mineral railway routes, so nice climbing going up the valleys, and a good quick run coming back down. Ogmore valley path and Garw valley path near me, but a lot of the taff trail is on old railway alignments

    In my experience (pre class 37) the 1705 from queen street is full, with people standing around the doors, 1720 is wedged (full, standing all throughout) 1735 similar. If there are short forms it messes everything up. I now travel from Rhiwbina, and that can be wedged when a 153 is used

    Fishguard harbour is one enclosed building - step to the platform, up a ramp and you are on the boat, Holyhead now requires a shuttle bus transfer as the current vessels are too big to use the inner harbour, and they dock about 500m away on a purpose built linkspan
