Not sure. Word on the street was that some people had been to look at some 323's at Long Marston, but that's unofficial. And the refurbs I don't think will happen because there are still discussions about 323's versus (insert fleet here that cannot be spoken about) swaps.

Close. There has been a couple of ASR 156's inspected at Corkerhill for Northern to lease for a year, but they're in a bit of a state. I wouldn't want them. 156907 is at Heaton and is being systematically stripped for spares.

5H70 as far as I'm aware is cancelled. 5H71 should be 150001.

No, it's neither. It's been awaiting (all) wheelsets since December. The last ones provided had been overhauled incorrectly so went back to Spain. Since then it's been a useful source of spares for other units whilst the wait continues.

Those pictures were quite some time ago. The unit is currently due to return (fingers crossed here) before the end of this month.

Here is an example of the structural corrosion repairs that have been carried out on just one vehicle of 150275, then you can judge as to how long it takes.
