Not at all. It shouldn't be mandatory, it should be optional. If you want one, fair do, that's your individual rights and liberty to do so. I don't want one. I purposely don't use social media (Facebook etc.) for the same reason.

The internet did exist when the 101s were in their last years! I was even a member of a yahoo group following the 101s.

150s have better legroom than a 153 and they don't have that awful smell, and they have two carriages instead of one. I've spent too many years on commuter trains when a single carriage arrived instead of three.

Fitzwilliam seems to have a black and white cat loitering around the platforms quite often. I've also seen it sat amongst the ballast at the side of the line. I'd consider it an unofficial station cat, as it probably lives nearby but clearly considers the station as part of its territory!

I think TPE is a strong brand, probably for the wrong reasons though... i.e. how poor it was a few years back.

Sheffield could have been a good contender, plenty of old station buildings on the platforms, not as nice as Nottingham perhaps but certainly some decent architecture. I've always liked Hull's architecture to be fair.
