While waiting for my connection at Crewe, there was a stansted express service waiting on platform 11, it was a 2x4 carriage train, it departed with 1 person on board using a laptop. Can anyone tell me whay this train was all the way at Crewe. Cheers.

No hourly service to Aberystwyth this May :( however for the 1st time in ages, the 14.05 HOW from shrewsbury was 2x153 class, usually its a single carriage. and the best part of the day was the 17.24 shrewsbury to holyhead was a 3 carriage, thats better.

Well I do see a benefit of them, atleast they tell you how long the train will be delayed for if the train is delayed. I know I mentioned it in a previous thread but I hate those speaker phones they use in Wales. Craven Arms and Church Stretton are the next ones to have them installed.
