It's undergoing start/stop audio testing now with lineside and internal microphones. Edit: in diesel mode.

I'm at Velim now and the 331 has not moved since Friday, but now has a Vectron loco coupled. The spur to the main line is not electrified, so maybe the train will be shunted there by the yard loco. Or maybe moved internally.

In at Velim now and have seen and heard it run (slowly) in diesel mode. Will upload videos later today.

Yes, 2 actually, coupled together.

I'm guessing that both external sides are used for thermal (and possibly noise) venting, or that it's easier for maintenance access, or both.
