I thought that as well when I went through the process.
My DMI happened before my MMI.
As you see from the posts above it obviously changes depending on your TOC

I managed 16 lines on each with I assume not many if any mistakes. I was never shown my result. Just got told I passed.
You get asked 6 questions on the assessment day that you answer in the MMI. Which comes after the DMI .
