Where do train crew sign on for Plymouth? At the depot or Plymouth station?

Id be interested to hear if anyone qualified has moved to either Plymouth or Exeter as considering a move myself in the future.

What do they look for in a qualified driver? Is it two years minimum as a qualified driver? Do many people actually get the job with less experience?

Even more worrying could drivers end up like Pilots, if the railways think it could take years for passenger numbers to go back?

Wait untill you have to do advance route learning and go to Woking/Clapham every day for a week ;) And traction is normally london based.

I heard from someone that the rules hace changed for the tests regarding the three strikes on the tests. He recons that when you first fail it you have to wait 6 month and then you can fail again and retake after a year as many times as you like? Is this a new rule or have they got it wrong?

If it makes a loss adding 40mph to the line would cost even more. It would no longer be a light railway for one, so presumabely there would be different safety measures and upgrades needed to run faster. And insurance would be more on top of this, hence no other heritage railway runs above...
