A few Skegness open tops come to Grimsby most winters (sometimes just a couple, sometimes half a dozen of more!)
Also noted recently (this week), 19017 looks to have gone to Skegness, and 19007 has disappeared from 'laid up lane' at Grimsby.
There is indeed a paint shop at Grimsby depot, yes. All the local allocations (and some others too I believe) have been done here. It faces out towards the dock, not visible from the road.
Can confirm the actual 19383 is still in Grimsby, I travelled on her today on board C0603. She swapped with 19126 on board C1201, but she's still Grimbarian as I write this.

If it gave a significant increase in seating capacity it might make sense, but it's only 3 or 4 extra seats per bus, so it doesn't!
(From an enthusiast and slightly selfish point of view, the "endangered species" often have a way of migrating to Grimsby, long may it continue!)
In Grimsby, 19007 hasn't tracked since back end of October, and is currently parked up in 'laid-up lane'" round the back of the depot, though it's boxing 26273 in at present. Also observed an Enviro400 in the newer version of Interconnect purple livery in depot, but it wasn't a clear view to...
