Don't think it's been mentioned here yet (my apologies if it has and I've forgotten), but stations on the Barton-on-Humber line are currently being refreshed and rebranded. However there's no Rail Alphabet 2 to be seen, they're very much in EMR style and colours! I did take some photos...

Does anyone know why the Caledonian sleeper is going up the east coast

Can't remember where I read it, but even with the reversal and extended journey times, Euston is the preferred London terminal as it has showers etc, whereas King's Cross doesn't.

    Heysham cancellations

I'm no expert, but knowing the route by rail is a completely different kettle of fish to knowing the route by road in a bus. Say for this example a Skipton guard knows where the stations are by rail (and yes I know there's a lot more to it not the subject of this thread), doesn't mean he's...

Stations rebranded to Great British Railways design / Rail Alphabet 2 & 3

Perhaps it should be GER, being as the W and S that would make it GBR have already done their own thing?! Branding wise anyway, without going off the topic of this thread and opening countless other cans of worms!

    Stagecoach Repaint Updates

It's been a while since I did a Grimsby depot update, so bear with me... Of the deckers here, only 4 have so far received the new livery, 19014, 44, 52 and 86; 6 of the Wright bodied single deck Volvos now carry new colours, 21263, 264, 266, 267, 269 and 270. Notably 21270 previously carried...
