If you know the names of her parents you can I think, with permission search birth records(?). I'm not completely sure on it, but sometimes with family with the right identification in the UK you can find get birth details of other family members. This is only what I've heard though.

There isn't much variation as far as I can see it, there are a hell of a lot of steam engines, although there are some lovely shots a bit more variety would be nice. More diesels or electric engines, variation of shots from across the UK to really appeal to every fan.
