Can anyone confirm if it was 68009 was working a train northbound out of marylebone last night sunday about 19.45.

Yeah of course i meant it as a joke i put a laughing emoji at the end but it didn’t show up i myself know from what i have seen of of them and i have used them intensively since there introduction there reliability is usually very good.

Always good to see a class 37 coming through what was 66957 working being chasing that for ages one of my handful of freightliner locos left.

Never said it was ready to go said it might be worth a trial to look into dont think i said there was crew and stock ready waiting.

Fair enough but the sleeper wont make the first 7.04 off inverness north no matter how much timings improvement but itsa fair point a 9 am ish departure would maybe worth a trial.

Dont think any loops would make a difference the sleeper would run after all service trains are berthed for the night

I wouldn’t use the term it’s because of that i would say its down to each franchises rolling stock plan.

Totally agree a late night sleeper service from the north highlands would never reach full capacity especially in the winter months.
