Hello mate, yes unfortunately I got the unsuccessful email a couple of days ago. But I got a good bit of interview experience , so I'll use that to my advantage and go again. Hopefully the lom I interviewed with will give me some feed back .
Fantastic , thank you for that. It's been over a week now for me since my interview . I've read people saying they've waited weeks and weeks to hear anything . Oh well I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed. Good luck with your training , and again congratulations on your new career.
Hi NROP
Congratulations on your start date. Just out of interest , how long did it take you to receive a verbal offer after you had your interview? I realise that all departments will work at a different pace , and depending on job urgency and such , but I'm just trying to get an idea on how...
Thank you for your reply, really appreciated , I'm sure I'll find out more about working hours and shifts at the interview , and I'll happily add to the post once I know . It's a real , right out in the middle of nowhere box , which I actually don't mind to be honest . Fingers crossed all goes...
Hi guys
I hope this is the right place to post this . I've managed to get an interview for Grain level crossing , and from what I've managed to research it seems the crossing is really slow paced , with only about 4 trains a day going out to the island. I've been down to the crossing today ...
Hi all
I have recently applied for the role of crossing keeper , based at Littlehaven, and I,m currently trying to research the crossing. However the information I've found online seems to suggest that, in 2012 the crossing was changed to a cctv operated crossing , controlled by a signaller...
Frustrating isn't it . Really I'm just trying to work out whether my working history and qualifications will ever be a match for an operative role or if I'm just wasting my time , and if so what operative role best suits me. I read the job criteria and I seem to fit, but maybe not.
Hi all , just wondering if anyone could offer some advice please. I recently applied for the position of operative , signal maintenance. I made it to the point of application under consideration for assessment 2, and then received an email stating that after consideration I wasn't a match...
I got an email yesterday saying the same thing although mine is for the Orpington depot. Good to hear something, just hoping the next email doesn't take to long . :D
Hi sig01 the position is advertised just as a signal maintenance operative , based in Exeter.
I can't find a grade to it unfortunately. https://ebus2.hiav.networkrail.co.uk/OA_HTML/OA.jsp?OAFunc=IRC_VIS_VAC_DISPLAY&p_svid=2073055&p_spid=6734275&refsh=0
This is a link to the job. I must say I...
Hi all , I'm after a bit of advice on signal maintenance. There is a current opening in Exeter that seems perfect for me although it would mean relocating down there from London. I'm fine with this as I love the area. The job advertises at roughly 34000 , but I'm assuming this is once training...
