There are changes underway in Hatfield with a new Traffic Regulation Order being put in place by Herts CC to control the area in front of the station (the yellow lines have been painted) plus new dedicated short term bays within the car park itself. There will be a publicity campaign regarding...
TL/GN are run under management contracts not ordinary franchise arrangements so all fare decisions are made by the DfT. Suspect there is a list of proposed changes still sitting in an inbox somewhere there!
1. The checker says that Enfield Chase to Moorgate qualifies.
2. NRE season ticket calculator only offers "Enfield Chase or Enfield Town to London Terminals" as an option if a search is done for Enfield Chase to Moorgate.
3. It's not traveling "from different stations than the ones showing on...
The service was a one-off unfortunately - the first trains aren't due to be introduced to regular service until later in the autumn.

Glad to see there is progress - found them on realtraintimes but they are currently showing as class 317 rather than 717. Think something similar happened on the original Moorgate journeys.
One issue I foresee is that on the 313s it is possible to access and leave any seat without disturbing others and many passengers do enter / exit at intermediate stations. On the 717s the aisle passenger will need to get up to permit entry to / exit from the window seat (as on the 700s). Believe...
It will also see the end of 3 car trains. That's generally good for capacity, but will remove the ability to run 2 x 3 car services instead of one 6 and a cancellation, if there are fewer units than usual available due to maintenance etc.
My understanding from the consultations etc is that the final 2019-20 timetable was designed for the increased acceleration / braking etc of the 717s and the journeys (at least on the WGC side) were timed accordingly. There are planned omissions within that of stops at Haringey and Hornsey or...
GN have updated their website to recognise that some units have arrived in the UK - saying first train into passenger service "in the autumn": https://www.greatnorthernrail.com/717trains
