That's not what I'm suggesting, no. Some retailers do inform the customer when their itinerary is broken. I'm merely pointing out that it isn't as simple to get right as some might believe. The retailer can put in a lot of effort, and still get all the blame despite it being the fault of a TOC...
It isn't quite as simple as you might think. TOCs add and remove trains from the timetable very frequently. Services.can be removed by mistake, and the same train will be readded sometime later. A service with one ID can be replaced with one with another ID - you need to check that it matches...
The outward train did exist in the timetable when Hull trains sold you the tickets. Northern cancelled it between Hull and Bridlington the day after you bought the tickets. See here: Sheffield to Bridlington on 15/04/2021
Very impressive. You're missing Walsden - I don't think its been ceded to the dark side has it?
Did passenger services ever run on the section of the Selby-Goole line that starts at Thorpe Gates (see map here)? It isn't on your map.
Can seatfrog availability reduce during the bidding process? I've had 'bidding closed early' on LNER about 20 minutes into the bidding before. Could this happen if someone bought a 'normal' advance fare for that service at last minute?
Yes, it is listed on the wymetro site.

Perhaps not, but we've seen it happen. It's also a good thing - you can potentially prevent someone getting a refund on an otherwise unscanned ticket ticket that they've received delay repay on.
I'd be surprised if customers will be able to check usage any time soon. The data recorded for scan events is not particularly consistent across TOCs. Fields are not always populated or populated in the same way. Nonsensical scans are also recorded suggesting that handheld scanners are not...
Some more rule changes were announced today (see Gov.uk: Christmas travel measures to help passengers plan their journey and travel safely).
When changing an advance ticket purchased on or before 26th November 2020 for travel between 2nd December 2020 and 2nd January 2020 inclusive the admin...
Thameslink will sell it as an e-ticket. Trainsplit will too. Presumably it hasn't been disabled in RCS.
I'd still like to know the source of this "RDG guidelines say Cross London shouldn't be enabled for eTickets". Are these guidelines issued to TOCs who are responsible for enabling fulfilment...
