Can confirm that the Tour completed the branches on the north side of the Tyne to buffer stops.:D Train ran early on most of these freight lines.66001 and 60039 in charge. 90029 took the train back to London and I am informed it arrived back 11 early. A very enjoyable day.

I can confirm a colleague of mine ,who was on a Virgin train going between London and Preston, who was delayed by two hours by the same incident received his payment yesterday.

While driving south on the M5 last Friday, noted two low loaders taking FGW 158 units northbound causing a large tail back of traffic. Anybody know the unit numbers or the destination of these units ?

Just spoken to a friend who went on the train yesterday. Said it was full from Grantham, with some people standing. No problems coming back because of the later departure time.
