At least you haven't been ghosted :lol: I may just go through the internal route, where I am, but the last couple of years at my depot and TOC have been shocking for trainee drivers, from what I have heard, I would strongly prefer to learn to drive elsewhere.

Mine is still valid for another 3 years. I am in no hurry.

Not necessarily, if you fail the MMI, you need to wait another 6 months before resitting. We don't know how long it will take for LNER to come back to you, it could be days, weeks, months, some folks get contacted a year or so afterwards. If you do not pass, and you do get contacted quickly...

The online application is straightforward enough. Just follow the instructions given. They are simple enough, and explained clearly. If you have to answer questions, answer them honestly, integrity is important. Each TOC may have different assessments, so it's best just to read the information...

That's also why they have those assessments to filter applicants.

It may be a while, there were a lot of applicants for the roles, and they need to give folks their 3 days to submit the bits that was asked.
