The scot-rail.co.uk website says it will be publishing the diagrams that will be used in the next timetable and was wondering if anyone had an idea that when when they issue the class 320 diagrams will they inlude the Argyle Line services they will be utilised on?
Perhaps Transpennine Express should introduce a service every 2 hours between Liverpool Lime Street and Glasgow Central/Edinburgh /Barrow in Furness etc opening up new journey opportunities between Merseyside and Scotland!
So could that see more class 334 units cascaded from Ayrshire/Inverclyde routes to Airdrie/Bathgate duties as well as seeing more class 318 units on Argyle Line duties as well as the promised 8 class 320 units for Argyle Line duties?
With even more class 380 units coming into service,could that see one or two class 320 units released for Argyle Line duties and more class 334 units released for North Clyde/Airdrie to Bathgate duties?

What kind of contingency plan will Scotrail have? Will it be class 158 DMU'S,class 156 DMU'S,class 170 DMU'S or class 318 Emu's?

They might just start operating that day,after all considering that Scotrail has more class 380's in service we have seen the Monday to Friday Edinburgh to Helensburgh increase to 2 tph so we might just see the Edinburgh to Milngavie up and running!
