I spent 2 weeks in Hungary last Autumn. Photagraphed on many stations and at the lineside with absolutely no problems at all.
In Budapest Keleti is worth a visit and as mentioned above passengers wander about on the track . I arrived on a train from Miskolc and was amazed to see many people...
That looks very much like Ruabon. If so then it's a picture taken from the front of a northbound train though, I suspect, not from the cab. The other picture with the article also suggest a northbound train - track and platform on the right.
Given that the train in question was southbound then...
The Pays de Loire Forfait Tribu is available only from May - September. It does cover an area slightly larger than The Pays de Loire TER but the map that was on the website seems to have disappeared.
www.bahn.com/ should give you all the information you need ,including types of train in many cases, although I don't think a London - Toulon - London trip is feasible in a day.
As for crossing Paris, The Metro is pretty straightforward although I find signage is often poor. Train destinations...
Just done Munich to Paris on CNL and had a very aggresive Police check at some point in Germany after everyone had gone to sleep. Absolutely graceless and unpleasant Police officers banging on doors and shouting "passport, passport" as well as shining torches in passengers faces. From the grins...
DIRFT certainly seems to be a success rail wise. Presently the sidings are being extended northwards and a new bridge is under construction taking the line over the A428. DIRFT 3 already has road connections laid out and track is in place that can be extended when this project begins.

I used a UK Visa debit card to buy the ticket and the same one to authenticate on the train. You have to produce the same card that you used to buy the ticket even if it has since expired.
The latest ticket I have was bought with the same card. The ticket has my name on it, ID Karte - Visa and...
I have just bought a DB ticket on line. The ticket has my name on it as well as the type of card I used and the last four numbers of the card. As EWD has said you have to have with you on the train the card you booked with. Some conductors will ask you for the card, some don't bother but it is...
The Intercites branding no longer guarantees Corail stock. A number of Intercites services are now worked by units some with TER branding. The Quimper - Nantes Intercites is one such and has been for several years. A general indication that an Intercites train is a unit is a 1 at the beginning...
The tunnel is not and never has been a public right of way. There used to be signs saying this. I am not sure if they are still there. In any event the tunnel is closed 02:00 -05:00 every day and at Christmas thus showing there is no right of way.
Closing the tunnel is not an option as it the...
Fitting gates at Rugby is going to be very difficult. The other end of the tunnel is the route from the car park and a whole area of the town to the ticket office. Pretty much impossible to gate it there. The only way I can see would be to gate all the ramps, stairs and lifts individually which...
No Longer.
Departed Northbound at 15:15 pulled by 66846.
47727 departed similarly about half an hour later.
86701 remains in the carriage sidings at Rugby
Steam on regularly timetabled services out of Wolsztyn ceased at the end of March. PKP Cargo and the local authority cannot agree on funding. They have had several meetings all of which agree just to have another meeting.
If it returns it looks likely to be Wolsztyn - Leszno as the Poznan line...
