Could anyone give me a clue on how much of the actual mechanical comphrension test involves maths? On the practice paper the first two involve working out the volume of a pool, but from then on the rest were common sense for me. Cheers!

Like the GBT noone seems to know the pass mark, its a secret! I think it varies depending on what the standard is so they can narrow it down further.

40% pass the interview? As in get through to training? Seems a lot! Is it then filtered more by references/medicals?

How did people find the 'glop/sandite' test on the assessment day? Does this test differ between TOC's?

I've got the book and those tests make my brain freeze up. There aren't any in the test like that are there? The dials ones I find easier.

What were the medicals like? I understand you must do an eye test? With and without glasses? What else?

I don't understand the eyesight thing.. I wear glasses and my worst eye is-1.75, what does that mean inrelation to the 3/60 thing?

Interesting to hear the interviews are on different day. I suppose the day would be far too long and involve a lot more waiting if they were on same day.

Hopefully the letter will come in time, or i'll use my bank letter from 2005! Any news from the people who had their assessments yesterday or whenever it was? Edit: First part? Could you give a bit more info? So all the tests listed in the pack aren't on one day or is there other things...
