Could anyone give me a clue on how much of the actual mechanical comphrension test involves maths?
On the practice paper the first two involve working out the volume of a pool, but from then on the rest were common sense for me.

I had wondered because I attended an assesement day for station staff last year and was there till late in the afternoon with there also being structured interviews :)

I've got the book but i've not really used it for the GBT, I've been using the PC version from Digital Reality so I can't really help there.

Is this part of an assessment day? I'm guessing not all TOC's do this, as it seems to not be a part of Greater Anglia's Assessment days, unless its a surprise!
Interesting to hear the interviews are on different day. I suppose the day would be far too long and involve a lot more waiting if they were on same day.
Hopefully the letter will come in time, or i'll use my bank letter from 2005!

First part? Could you give a bit more info? So all the tests listed in the pack aren't on one day or is there other things...
We are aware of an issue with emails from the Forum to Microsoft-based email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live.com email addresses). This is being looked into currently, thanks for your patience meanwhile.
