There is a big demand for services from Manchester as Off Peak it is three trains each hour and between 0615 and 09.15 there are 9 services.
Interesting setting the same times in January it shows only £149.50
I'm not complaining about the track the train is doing but by turning a Farewell Trip to the 455s they have excluded a lot of people who might have wanted to travel.
If they had done the same as the 315 farewell tours by running three shorter trips you would have got more passengers on the...
I consider it poor planning to put all your eggs in the one basket.
A lot of PSB's are closing to be replaced by ROC's and in cases like Stoke it controls too big an area.
If Stafford was controlled by a different box then most of the WCML would not be affected by an outage at Stoke.
The same...
The same post was on two different groups - on FB Somewhere and there are a number of Spelling mistakes -
"Both a train ticket" - Is that Both had a train ticket or Bought a Train Ticket?
And at the end "factors within 21 within 21 days."
If you read the page you quoted it says
"An earlier fire next to the track between Birmingham International and Coventry means that trains must run at a reduced speed on the line towards Coventry.
As a result, services running through these stations may be delayed by up to 15 minutes. -...
Look at the Front of a TPE 185 or 802 - on the 185 the Coupling Box under the Cab is Yellow at the First Class end
On an 802 there is a Silver band around the Top Headlight to indicate the First Class End

Regarding the Farewell Trip for the 455s it might have been better to do Three out and back shorter trips from Waterloo lasting about 3 hours
08.00 - 11.00 then 11.30 - 14.30 and 15.00 - 18.00
it would give people the chance to do a trip and would not need a toilet stop
They did a similar trips...
I did not say they are new but the limited number of trains mean they get an entry in the PSUL
Although I was unaware of one of the Leven services running that way.
It is interesting you were correcting my comments without adding anything to the list of Rare Track - presumably there is no rare...

Thanks @Tony2 - That info is useful - I have seen such a search on the Class 37 page but I did not know of this page
Thanks @SW Rover - That seems very similar to the day I went.

I'm trying to find a timetable for the SVR Diesel Gala on 25 April 2008.
An old timetable or a list of what trains were worked by which locos is what I'm after
I visited the gala and I think I just wrote the info down in a book but I cannot find it now...
