    60+ Oyster to Stansted

Those terms and conditions are in dire need of updating. They were created when Virgin ran ICWC services and also mention London Midland and Scotrail. They should now be Avanti, London Northwestern Railway (West Midlands Trains) and Caledonian Sleeper. I think I'm right in saying that in...

    TfL declined payment-banking issue.

OK, I'll prevent another double post. ;) There is definitely something strange going on. In addition to the visitor to my site who is waiting for a response from TfL, my wife made a journey on Wednesday. This appeared on the card account as a pending transaction on Thursday, and is still...

    TfL declined payment-banking issue.

Something has definitely gone wrong somewhere, but whether it's TfL or a bank is unclear. A visitor to my site had travel from Saturday taken on Sunday and again on Monday this week.

    TfL declined payment-banking issue.

Buses should get updated within 30 minutes like stations, but if the bus is in a poor signal area it might take a bit longer. I think it's unlikely that you'll be charged for the first journey.

    Adding Railcard to Oyster

They will likely ask that you top up at the same time. They don't get commission on adding railcards.

Zip Oyster 5-11 & NR from TfL zone boundary

Yes it exists. It was probably set up when the card only allowed free travel on TfL services. Please compare the fares for Gatwick to Redhill.

Zip Oyster 5-11 & NR from TfL zone boundary

The 60+ Oyster photocard is literally an off-peak zones 1-9 travelcard. You cannot add credit and can only use it on some TfL services beyond zone 9. The zip 5-10 photocard is a PAYG Oyster card which happens to charge zero for the vast majority of it's journeys.

Zip Oyster 5-11 & NR from TfL zone boundary

Because the fares are zero for the vast majority of journeys. The last thing TfL want is bad publicity from families when an inadvertent failure to touch renders a card unusable at barriers because it has a negative balance. It's also why all Oyster cards get no deduction on entry at Heathrow...

Zip Oyster 5-11 & NR from TfL zone boundary

Do you have a source which says that you will be charged something on a 5-10 zip card touched in within the zones? Beyond zones 1-9 TfL don't care. It's the TOC which is losing money if they don't check.

Zip Oyster 5-11 & NR from TfL zone boundary

It's been a while since I had any zip cards within my family, let alone 5-10 ones. My understanding is that the entry charge within zones 1-9 is zero, so there is no penalty for not touching out, and vice-versa not touching in and a zero exit charge. The 5-10 zip card is not a travelcard, and...

St Erth to Plymouth service cancelled from 18:00 for the rest of the day

Have you asked National Express to refund the coach ticket given the two hour delay?

    Guildford to Royal Marsden Commute

Agreed if the train from Guildford stops at Wimbledon. Bear in mind though that a change at Earl's Court might be needed if the first train is for Edgware Road.

    London Travelcard question

You can load custom period travelcards onto Oyster, yes. Choose "Odd period travelcard" from the dropdown once you've said you want to buy a travelcard.

Increase of TfL Incomplete Journey Fare Trial

No worries. It is about 3 months after the Kidbrooke incident, so worth knowing about.

Increase of TfL Incomplete Journey Fare Trial

Do you by any chance have documentary evidence of this? Like journey history without the touch dated long after it was made, then a version with it? Failing that, can you share the dates concerned? Kidbrooke has been my goto example of delayed touches where building work held up data for a...

Unable to appeal Penalty Fare due to missing verification email

OK. There is a known issue with Apple Express Pay, but that doesn't apply here.

What sort of phone do you have? If it is Apple, were you using Express Pay?

What’s the furthest a member of staff can be overcarried one stop?

The trains don't actually terminate at Sutton, they carry on the other way round the loop.
