I've just delayed my journey from central to pontypridd for 20 mins or so, purely so I can get on the 6:56. First impressions, so much more space, comfier seats and so incredibly cleaner, and do much clearer announcements

From what I can work out, it's currently active from Chepstow, ebbw vale, Abergavenny, Pontypridd (just launched), maesteg and Pyle, through to Cardiff (central/queen street/bay), with the other metro areas one launching by the end of the year, so the rhymney line ones won't work yet

I'm currently sat on what I assume is one (the newer trains that have been running on the rhymney line for a bit) at Cardiff central to Treherbert. Have had to treble check 3 times to make sure I'm on the correct train!

Does anyone have any ideas of why all the trains pontypridd to Merthyr seem to be cancelled today (according to the tfw app), but yesterday they were still shown as running? 1711879640 The bizarre thing is that they are now all showing as running again. Traksy was showing them as cancelled also...

Too days in a row I've been on the 6:37 from ponty to queen street (ex-merthyr) and has felt so much quieter than normal without all of the Rhondda rail replacements getting on it! Got the 5:39 CDQ-PPD back, and it was a TRB service, vast majority of people seemed to be staying on past ponty

They've been running up and down all day (every time I look at traksy, I've missed the reverse journey and how far Cardiffwards they travelled
