I've just seen that the tfw pay as you go scheme has expanded as far as pontypridd now.

Using the prices on this page, and the Map shown below, am I reading things correctly, or, by using Pay as you go, from Pontypridd to Cardiff (whether bay, queen street, central or otherwise), I would be spending less each month no matter how many times I travelled, than using a monthly season ticket between the two - I pay £117.20 each month now

Mods, if there's already a post, or if I've put this in the wrong section, please merge/move

Why have they not included to new car parks at Severn Tunnel Junction & Pontypool & New Inn on the Metro pay as You Go Map?

Am not sure, it just says your contactless card, and Def sounds like it has gone live

Oh I thought from the map it was live on all the valley routes but it's just pontypridd?

Ok this is even more confusing. The validator at heath High level didn't work with any card, but lisvane is showing tap in and tap out?

From what I can work out, it's currently active from Chepstow, ebbw vale, Abergavenny, Pontypridd (just launched), maesteg and Pyle, through to Cardiff (central/queen street/bay), with the other metro areas one launching by the end of the year, so the rhymney line ones won't work yet

No that's right, it's just some of the rhymney line stations do have signs up saying it's working on the validators.
