Folkestone Central may be the closest station to the town but it's far from central (at least half a mile away) and was originally called Radnor Park (which is just over the road). The renaming of stations in this area could take up a lot of space........

I'm not sure of the time frame for it being cut back, but Dover to Ramsgate used to have 2 trains per hour, one running via Minster; now it's only hourly except in Mon-Fri peaks, with only one train each way (for schoolchildren) via Minster. At least the one train per hour is now a Javelin.

A similar situation has existed at Dover Priory for a long time, with the cafe doors onto Platform 1 permanently locked since barriers were installed.
