Choose between MTR crossrail or Lorol

If u sat on 23rd December with LOROL as I did, then we should get the stage 1 result this week (unless you have already got it?) I dipped the MTR stage 2 SJT so easy decision for me as I'm already out of the game with them!

Good luck to those who apply. Annoyingly I dipped the 2nd stage SJT for this. I think it's six months before I can apply again

Thanks for that Cherry_Picker - thought that was the case. Wouldn't be feasible for me.

That would be good if it happens. Can anyone remind me where their drivers are based though?

    LOROL - Any feedback?

I don't think the tests are impossible. (From what I've seen so far) But what is reiterated is speed and accuracy. And I can see why. You do really have to concentrate. We shall see if I've done enough. I really have no idea if I have or not.

    LOROL - Any feedback?

Thanks! Bit of a shock really. I was like many here expecting a long wait before any response. And if I'm honest I wasn't expecting a positive response. This is only the first bit so I'm not getting my hopes up. I would be at the extreme end of 40 minutes. However I know that people who...

Movements of new red trains on WCML

Hello all Keep seeing these red trains on the West Coast Main Line. Running empty and usually have a destination of Wembley Central. Just wondering who / what they are? They're passenger trains by the way and look like brand new rolling stock but have no branding or logos etc. Thanks...

LOROL: Trainee Train Driver - Willesden x8

Application in - got a message just before this post from a Lorol driver saying this had come out. Be aware they want a CV as well as the form which has to be completed in one go. Best of luck.

MTR Crossrail - salary & benefits query

Maybe I didn't make myself clear - what I mean is, what happens in terms of how you progress. Does your salary progress as you go along until qualified? Or does it just rise once you're qualified and on your own? As for the benefits - it wasn't really clear in terms of what you receive hence...

MTR Crossrail - salary & benefits query

Hello all, First post but have been loitering for a while. I've been toying with the idea of applying for the MTR Crossrail vacancy for trainee drivers at Old Oak Common. As it has been readvertised again this week, I've decided to give it a go. (Long story - won't bore you) What I...
