    GTR - Trainee Driver - Cricklewood & Hornsey (02/09/22)

Hi. Does that mean the DLR is a bad place to work due to their profits going down? Is the job still secure?

DLR - Passenger Service Agent (07/10/22)

I got sent a link to complete an OPC Situational Judgement Test a few days ago.

    DLR Passenger Service Agent (29/01/2022)

Nice to see it being advertised for the 50th time this year.

    PTAC Oyster Advice

One thing to note is it will be useless to use any railcards if you were buying a ticket between Chelmsford and Shenfield during the peak as both the single and return fares are below £13. The off-peak starts relatively early on this this section of the line at 0845, and super off peak at 1200...

Are you in contact with a job centre plus advisor? They may be able to provide assistance at their discretion for your first few months of employment.

    PTAC Oyster Advice

Assuming it’s not a nominee PTAC (which is leisure only), you should definitely use it for TFL Rail and the tube section of your journeys as this will give you the greatest discount out of all the railcards. If you are tapping in at Shenfield then you could link your 26-30 or veterans railcard...

    DLR Passenger Service Agent (29/01/2022)

The job description is not that detailed in terms of the benefits. The only time you can use the National Rail priv on TfL is if it has the + cross London symbol. Surely there has to be some reciprocal arrangement in place for that to be the case.

    DLR Passenger Service Agent (29/01/2022)

It’s quite surprising to see it being advertised again. I know you get free travel across the TfL network if you work for the DLR, but do you also get the staff leisure card for national rail?

Is there a six month wait before gettibg that discount?

    That's what I'll do.

LO parallel with GTR staff pass routes

Thank you all. It seems like a grey area to me. Sometimes engineering work could mean all GTR trains are out of action with the Overground being the only TOC operating especially at weekends on that section, and this could happen vice versa. I suppose I'll just have to use common sense.

LO parallel with GTR staff pass routes

Hi all, I don't want to sound tongue in cheek with this question, but LO do run alongside some GTR routes, such as between West Croydon and New Cross. My question is can you use the GTR staff pass on London Overground in these sections, or is it only valid on GTR trains. After all, the train...

That's quite helpful thanks. You've shed some light on that topic for me.

    Yes, for station staff.

Britain’s relationship with the EU post Brexit.

I hope that we keep a good relationship with Europe, especially if dealing with a possibly awful pandemic.
