Even if they wanted to separate the ELL electrification from the Sussex electrification they could probably achieve it with a shorter gap section. I just find it odd there’s a long gap section and then two third rails. Why not just put it lower down to close the gap.

I attended stage one last week and just received the same email :)! Passed everything to enhanced.

I’ve checked my portal on the DB Website and the status has changed to “Assessment”.

I haven't received further communication since applying, but it's not a concern as I'm still actively engaged in the application process with other companies.

I applied back in October and haven’t heard anything since. They had a major recruitment drive back in 2022 which might be contributing to your delay in not hearing back.
