Thanks. When the order for the new LM 350/2s was placed, I hope the DfT did not put a spin on it and announce them as giving extra capacity. That clearly would not be the case if they were replacements for 321/4s going to NXEA. The public is very wary of the DfT double counting nowadays.

How come London Midland have 68 carriages spare to send to NXEA ? Can someone explain ? What this always part of a masterplan when LM received new carriages itself ?
