keep calm mate, study the practice materials well and also get a good night sleep the night before.... i found it stressful and hate the 'exam' atmosphere but thats whats its designed to do to see how you cope under pressure... concentrate! and like philipsalan said i bought i bop it :) all...

60 shortlisted to assessment centre and 10 vacancies going.... thought it went ok... quite tough i thought regardless of studying the practice material --- old post above --- --- new post below --- 3000+ applicants so they said

no interview i guess will be on the 2nd day off assessments providing you pass the 1st day.... same as the mechanical test

hi rob.. im TPE and the current link system is approx as follows - week of earlies, week of late turns.... various Rest days... occasional sundays paid outside of salary every 3-4 it falls for a long weekend off ie - 5 or sometimes 6 days off... cheers

hi there, no its no problem at all good luck with your assesment, make sure you are well prepared with the tests etc... they are looking for someone with life experience in a customer role... times when you have had to act beyond what was asked and go into detail about it... the interview is...

assement centre will include dot test (concentration) ticket checking test - dates/times/ etc.. ticket selling test - arithmetic maths - 3.70 + 7.85 etc.. role play - awkward customer scenario - act proffessional and give good customer service interview - think of some good life experiences...

welcome mate... as ive just mentioned to harrysmummy... i started last october with TPE and have recently passed out etc... if u want any advice, give me a shout and ill do what i can. all the best mate... a good career. graham

nope.. no formal qualifications at all... i did very average in my schooling and did no A levels etc.. in fact... i did take my qualifications to my interview for them to look at but they didnt even bother looking. they are more interested as to what you have to offer experience wise and how...

no, no experience in rail... plenty of customer experience and dealing with complaints etc...

just as i await my start date.. i was wondering what shift patterns TPE work to if anyone can help? i know its usually a week of earlies and a week of lates but in what respect? and what hours? just so i know in advance... thanks all....
