This format, first seen from around mid-July 2020 has only been seen from a handful of stations that have Scheidt & Bachmann machines. It is sporadic and has not been seen at all machines at a station.
So far v06-00 has only been seen on tickets from PICO T/O and SST, Cubic TfL TVM’s and Evolvi.
This is a list of the start dates for all the areas that used PERTIS. The furthest north they went were in the West Yorkshire area although they were all removed after 3 years.

I occasionally use a Super Off Peak Travelcard for zones 1-6 from Littlehampton to Bromley South via Victoria.

I compiled a list of over 900 PERTIS machines showing the serial number when most machines were in use.
Adding those listed above shows that some machines moved around to replace faulty machines.
Transport for London seem to have some fare anomalies on journeys from London Overground stations
For example, a single from Finchley Road & Frognal to Putney via Kensington Olympia and Clapham Junction is £2.80 whereas a single to Clapham Junction is £5.50.

Having said that, I now hear that South Western are replacing their Fujitsu Star machines with Worldline @station (TOMTIS - Ticket Office Mobile Ticket Issuing System) that issue tickets in the new format.
