Thank you. Yes, I understand that. I just presumed, perhaps incorrectly, that for instance a G9 Signaller/ on really good money might be less inclined to pick up a RD Sunday and therefore N/A Sundays not included in rostered leave being hard to cover.

As did I last year and I found it useful knowing them even if I didn’t understand what they meant. One less thing to learn at the start when it’s all rather overwhelming.

If you’re doing the AB course, I’d suggest learning the bell codes. You don’t have to necessarily understand their meaning at this stage but it will save you some time at the start of the course as that’s one of the first things you’ll be asked to learn.

I could be entirely wrong but perhaps they look at say 100 applications and when they’ve found enough to fulfil their quota, they just disregard any others.

Were there online assessments for this application? I though it was just cover letter and CV?

Did they actually say in the email that you live too far away?
