Invited to book a live video interview this morning (Leeds). Am I right in saying this is the DMI?

Just checked the portal and it’s saying invited to interview although I’ve had no email stating this. Anyone else experienced this?

Recently, vacancies have been coming up frequently. So, if you’ve still got a while till you start, then the near 3 months you’ll have doing your training, that’s still plenty of time to hopefully find a box that suits your needs. Most important thing is to actually pass the course!

I was in exactly the same boat. Only secured a box a month after I finished training. Some signallers prefer the 8hrs, but I much prefer the 12hr roster.

The Hope Valley line boxes are all 12hr. Admittedly, only Totley SB is in Yorkshire, so I guess it depends on what part of Yorkshire you’re interested in. All those boxes would be commutable from Sheffield and places relatively nearby.

Thank you. They’ve said assessments will happen between 2nd and 25th March. I passed stage 1 with a TOC, so I’m hoping I’ll be progressed to stage 2.

Was happy to receive an email today regarding invitation for driver assessments for the Peak Forest role. Quite surprised how quick given I only applied 2 days ago!

I applied for Leeds and heard absolutely nothing since doing my video interview. Not even a holding email.

I believe they’ll shortlist you for an interview with a Driver Manager and then you’ll be put forward for psychometric tests if you’re successful.

I sent mine Christmas Eve. I could be wrong but everyone should receive today’ s email which is basically saying that all applications are now being screened. So I wouldn’t worry about it :)
