    I try to avoid standing only venues if at all possible, the only ones upcoming are at Bedford Esquires, and they usually let you take a chair from the bar. and 229 in London, which does have some seats for us oldies along the sides. No more festivals for me, so that rules out Forever Now on Sunday

    Before I started getting a lift to Heathrow, I would always use HEx because getting from Euston to Paddington > HEx is a lot easier than getting from Euston to Crossrail, at Paddington HEx is closer than the Crossrail tracks, and I'm not taking a large suitcase on anything other than Euston...

    It’s highly unlikely anyone for Runcorn would have been able to board another train at Crewe, best to do what Avanti did, and send them via Liverpool

    We were on the return service from Liverpool to Euston departing Lime Street at 12:06, the number of Liverpool supporters at Crewe was scary

    The level of discount for accepted railcards isn’t the same either, Disabled has a much better discount than Senior
