Another thing that appears to be wrong here is the 'green button' I assume this refers to the open gate button on the SCU (Station Control Unit), this should be locked at all times unless a member of staff is actively using it.

The gates should absolutely be left open if they are unattended, it's not safe otherwise. Another thing that really irritates me is when the WAG is just left open with the rest of the gates still in operation (and unattended), most definitely not protocol.

As others have pretty much said above, I believe the freedom pass is valid on GWR (stopping) services between Paddington and West Drayton, but only TfL Rail to Reading (I'm not 100% sure though)

Personally I really like Leamington Spa, it a lovely GWR brown and cream station with an art deco feel to parts of it. Not a fan of winnersh triangle :lol:

I think wantage and grove would be ideal (particularly as there's already passing loops there), aside from the fact that they built a sub station on the site :lol:

Reading Green Park should be good

Personally I would love to see an EWR extension on to Reading (calling at didcot and perhaps occasionally culham) and potentially Bristol as well. But then I might be slightly biased :lol:

Oxford, beautiful city - horrendously ugly station

Aren't all stations on private land? Implied permissions can be withdrawn by the landowner (NR or TOC) at anytime I think? Even NR owned stations are still technically private land aren't they? (I may be completely wrong of course:lol:)
