If any of you are registered to VT for purchasing tickets, then thats how you got it, looks just like a job application rejection letter (it actually is - for them!)
I been thinking something similar to that, my thoughts were VXC and MML have 4/5 car trains on intercity routes, been on a four car unit from both companies and they were full (got a chance to ride in declassified 1st class though) Maybe they both got booted for insufficient space on high demand...
I was reading back through some old threads earlier and saw the 'First wins Greater Western Franchise' 80% of posts in that thread were people happy they won it, are they still happy how?
Oh when are they gonna start rolling out wi-fi on their intercity services?
With the production line of the Voyagers closed they then made 222s, would it be likely that the 222 production line being re-opened but with Voyager modifications.
Voyagers should have been 5/6 carriages in the first place.
Also on the new XC website it showed their bid proposals. Would...
At least Virgin wont be adding more fumes into the atmosphere with this entire diesel fleet (I could imagine Branson saying that too :D) all they need to worry about is the Voyagers on the North Wales route.
I also thought the Voyager name was licensed to Virgin which is why the 222s have to...
Well Virgin will be down to one franchise if they dont win the IC-EC and will be like GNER but not as expensive.
Good that they have a website already like London Midland, i have yet to see an East Midlands live site up yet, Stagecoach are slacking (i just really wanna see what their livery...
Virgin down to only 1 franchise now unless they win the East Coast.
Arriva, what a suprise..............even though it was rumoured time ago.
Branson must be fuming.
To add further, they should swap the 170s for 175s as they have more of an intercity feel to it :D
Wow, the DfT must have it in for NEx...either that or their bids must've been really weak.
In defense to Arriva, it will still be same operational staff (for the trains) so diagrams may not even change, they only thing that should be taken note of is the seamless integration of the Citylink...
Ive known this for a while but im wondering why this is? Actually i knows its due to a competition thingy set by Virgin, are they scared other TOCs can operate services commuters would prefer to take? Why put that protection on?
Due to this, Grand Union cant even think about running to...
Well, i hope they make them 4 carriage, but them 185s are noisy as hell, same engine as a 220 etc but noiser.
I wonder if they will refurbish the 158s to SWT standard (never seen the interior nor been on a 158/159 ever). More new trains can see the Pacers off the rail network through cascading...
